I loved Augustina even more than Sadie (which was amazing too!). I enjoyed how the plot wasn't too predictable and cookie cutter. It kept me curious and excited the whole time...in fact I read it all in one day. Rebecca is such a talented author and I appreciate that she keeps her books clean. I can't wait for her next series!

I loved it! Just as much as the first one! And even though I’m sad to see it end, the epilogue was the perfect ending!

This sequel to Sadie is intense and takes Sadie on a dark journey as she tries to decide whether to testify against her old boyfriend, Guillermo Vasquez, who almost succeeded in killing her and making it look like a suicide. Sadie is in witness protection pretending to be Josh's wife. Vasquez wants Josh dead, as he believes he stole Sadie away from him before she died (was murdered). Belliston did a good job taking the reader on a very emotional journey of guilt, grief, fear, want, rage, and ultimately redemption. Both main characters (Sadie and Josh) grew a lot through the book as they struggle to trust each other and let go of the pain and fear the past has caused. A good plot needs a slimy villain, and Guillermo Vasquez is perfect in this role--from the swamp of evil itself. The guy was powerful, confident, and unwilling to go down. I loved hating him. It was nice to see Sadie's growth as she learns that she has value in God's eyes and forgives herself for the past. She's a sweet character who's been dragged through a lot of muck in both books, but she becomes strong...and it has been a wonderful journey with her.

This is the continuing story that started in "Sadie". Sadie has fallen in love with Josh and he loves her. A funeral is conducted so that Guillermo thinks she died in the cabin fire. Guillermo vows to find Josh and kill him. This was a good sequel. I liked this book.

As I finish the last edit of my book, it's hard to believe I'm saying goodbye to these characters. I've spent the last five years hanging out with Josh and Sadie. As weird as it sounds, they've become my friends. I love them. I hope you love them, too.

It is the compelling ending to the story of Sadie. It is action packed. I like the way that Sadie comes into her own. It is a great read!

This was a satisfying sequel. We got to continue to watch Sadie work out her emotions in the aftermath of what she had survived. We got to watch her relationship with Josh grow. We got to meet more of their families. We got to see Sadie's conversion. Everything left unanswered at the end of the first novel is concluded here. Also, I must add that in this book and the first, I really like the way Belliston wrote the spiritual aspects of the novel. It never felt preachy, awkward, forced, or cheesy—just real. It was well done."'I don't know. It's not that I have anything against counseling, it's just that I'm not . . . I'm not really . . . ''One of those women? Croff finished. 'Look, I read your file. I read the things that jerk did to you. But I'm guessing that none of us know the half of it. All these nightmares are a sign that he left some huge scars on the inside. Going to counseling doesn't make you weak. In fact, I've been to a few sessions myself.'Sadie's eyes widened. 'Really?''Yeah. Childhood stuff that I won't bore you with. But counseling doesn't take away your strength and independence. Just the opposite. It makes you stronger because you refuse to let that jerk spend more time in your head. It means you recognize something is broken inside you, and you need some help putting it back together.'""'Do you hate me, or think I'm crazy? Weird, eccentric, overzealous? Harrison thinks I'm the strangest man on the planet.''I think you're different. A little old-fashioned maybe, but I like it.' She leaned against him. 'It love it, actually.''You do?'She flashed another radiant smile. 'Yeah, it's cute.'He stared at her, amazed at her adaptability. Dating. Marriage. Cohabitating. Not cohabitating. Mississippi. Tennessee. Not to mention she just saved his pride. 'I can live with cute. Manly is more preferable, but at this point I won't push my luck.'She laughed. 'How about gentlemanly? Is that better?'He rubbed the back of her hand. 'Much better.'"

The relationship between Mormon boy Josh and Sadie, the supposedly dead ex girlfriend of a viscous crime boss, is not just an adventure that will keep you turning the pages, but it is also a journey to find peace from the nightmarish pains the past bring to the present. Belliston's story is one of crime and conversion in which the unlikely mix subdues the other to bring both justice and mercy. Great quick read!

Guillermo has disappeared, but he is looking for Josh. And since Sadie is supposed to be dead, the FBI move her and Josh to Tennessee. Josh and Sadie have a hard time following rules; so they put themselves, their family and their friends in danger. But it does make for an exciting book. Plus, there's romance and a little gospel teaching in the book. I enjoyed it.

Great sequel to Sadie. The story stayed intriguing and it was a joy for me to read a story where the characters prayed, went to church, read the scriptures and so forth. The "yeahs" were a little abundant, but for most people I don't think that would be an issue. I'm just one of those old-fashioned types; the newer lingo sometimes drives me crazy. :)

Another great book!! I loved that this book picked up perfectly where the first one left off. I really enjoyed watching the story unfold, but I especially loved the ending! Rebecca does a great job wrapping up any loose ends and having everything come together in the end. Great read!

I like the first book, Sadie, so when I saw this one I was interested. It has been a few years since I read the other which made the first part hard to follow.
