I read these 3 books and loved them. Here is my review of each book-Blyss This is one of the reasons I sign up for blog tours- to be introduced to authors and books I've not heard of before. In this case I'm so delighted to be introduced to this trilogy. The author had my attention from the start and I literally could not move until Id finished it. The main characters are Jules, Nick and Travis. Jules is a fantastic character. I totally loved her. As for Nick and Travis the author messed with my head where they were concerned as my like/dislike for them kept changing. My lips are zipper when it comes to the storyline. The story is so much more than the synopsis with a few surprises that took my breath away. Well done to the author on a brilliant debut novel. If your looking for a gripping dark romance then I definitely recommend this book. In my opinion this is a lighter dark read if that makes sense. Be warned theres a cliffhanger however book two is already out.Blyssful LiesMake sure you read book one, Blyss, before you read this book as the story continues in book two.I was captivated by book one which had me reading it in one day. Thankfully it was the holidays and the next day was spent reading book two. I seriously could not read this book fast enough. Gripped is an understatement for how I was feeling. Edge of the seat and heart thumping kinda read. As much as I loved these two books I personally would have preferred to wait and read all three as I feel these cliffhangers are killing me!! I'm putting that down to the emotions and feelings I got while reading them. Having said that my impatience will not be taking any stars away and I gladly give this book a big fat five stars. Looking forward to getting my hands on book three.Blyssfully UndoneThis is book three in The Blyss Trilogy. Make sure you read the previous books before reading this one as these books gotta be read in order. This author certainly knows how to captivate her readers. Book one and two ended in cliffhangers. I didn't think it was possible for the author to blow my mind any more but she did with this great book. The twists and turns are thrown at us right through the series. However I felt they stepped up a notch in this story. Great conclusion to the series. I can't recommend this series highly enough. I absolutely loved it.

4 Star Read: Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance were well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors, and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!!Full Disclosure : I participate in reviews with NetGalley, Author Review Requests, Publisher Requests, and Book Tours. This is not your typical romance.  Blyss is a raw and gritty series that will have your heart pumping. A word of caution though - this series deals with dark subject matter and isn't for the faint of heart, it may also include triggers for some. The story focuses mainly on Travis and Julianna. Travis personafies the bug bad wolf in every sense of the word. When saying he is the lesser of two evils when it comes to Nick, is saying a lot. Juls finds herself in a very dangerous and scary situation. Torn from her family home and forced to spend her days under lock and key, while strangers watch her every move. Finding Travis seems to be her saving grace until, she thinks he turns on her too. This series will keep you guessing and questioning everything you think you know about what's unfolding. If you're looking for something different and can handle the anticipation, angst and grit, this book is for you! 4 star read for sure.

I couldn't put it down. Addictive. The characters were great and the story line unique. My only complaint is it should be one big book not three. I hate cliff hangers. Buy the set and save yourself the money from buying individually. Because You Will Buy Them!!

I downloaded this as a trilogy, finishing book one and reading about 16% into book two before DNF the series. Despite being intrigued by the Blyss drug plot, book one was a 1 1/2 star book for me for these reasons: • no sex• Travis's inner voice was like a Shakespearian old lady in his own POV chapters and very clipped and one dimensional in dialogue. His dirty talk was well done, but not enough to ever connect with his character. • The FMC was spastic, shifting too quickly and harshly between personas (sassy, innocent, kick-your-ass, submissive, weak, wanton, etc.) • The sex trade plot was whitewashed and bleached until it resembled a Disney movie. I don't mind dark seedy shit. I don't mind sappy sweet. I don't mind the grey area between the two. BUT, I hate when an author takes a dark subject base and attempts to half-ass spray paint it white. It's like trying to dress a cat up like a dog. • Entirely too much cheese and oddball shit ... like half a chapter on the FMC reading and fangirling FSOG while she's biding time as a pampered sex slave. • Too much shit that asks you to ignore your logical brain, fantasy or not... Such as Nick being obsessed with her and ooooh so jealous BUT getting his buddy to "train her in submission," only to end up watching as she and his buddy makeout and make google eyes at each other for 2 weeks.Book TwoSince book two was in the bundle and I was mildly curious what would happen once they discovered she wasn't taking her aphrodisiac meds, I decided to read on into book two. At first, I liked it much better than book one. It starts off with Nick now in control and Travis sent off on assignment. One of my main problems with book one was that Travis's character didn't make any damn sense in the contrast between WHO he is and WHAT he does & HOW he behaves with the FMC. Nick, on the other hand, at least makes sense. He's obsessed with the FMC, but that obsession doesn't moot his proclivity for absolute dominance and his own sadism needs. Do I like him? No. Do I believe him? Yes. It's honest and real. And, I can at least respect the authenticity of the character. The drug plot line gets more and more lackluster as time goes on. She's shot up with twice the amount of what any of the others have ever been given. {{{Keep in mind all these 'others' are purported to be tripping over themselves with glee to get this drug and crave the mental freedom and physical high of pleasure it allows. It turns all of them into the perfect physical and mental sex toy.}}}Not her, though. The FMC's body becomes a whore to the drug, but the supposed mental compliance? Ah, no. I hated the way the whip scene went down. I could understand if she became subservient, compliant. I could understand if she had a will of steel and remained as defiant as ever. But, I fucking hate this same seesaw of her being a badass in one breath and a whimpering and pleading mess the next. The battles she picks and how she picks to fight them make her look stupid as shit on a stick. No one taunts the devil and then cries when they get speared with his tail. The FMC switches hands.. Again. Back we go to a Travis and how his character actions and personas just don't g'haw. Why the knight in shinning routine? He knew what the FMC's fate was before he ever left. So why now? What's he feel? What's he think? We have his POV and he himself doesn't know, but we, as readers, are supposed to believe someone who's spent years throwing figurative grenades in crowds is suddenly going to jump on one without a clear reason or goal. Ehh, no. The final straw is when the author decides to wipe the slate clean with a good ol' fashion case of amnesia. Too much sugar for a dime, and I can officially write this one off as a DNF series. *** Note: I had downloaded this just hours before an incident where the author engaged in unprofessional and unethical behavior. The author publicly called for a witch hunt on a negative reviewer. As I already had this book bundle downloaded, I decided to read it.Despite my feelings about the incident & my unwillingness to ever buy a book this author pens in the future, I want readers and the author to know that my review of this book was unbiased & fairly based solely on the content of the book.

5+ starsThis series… OMG! What can I say! I LOVED it! I just… so many emotions!Let me start by saying, I read Quinn’s books first and then read this series so I knew a little (very little) about the back story of this book but it did not deter from the story at all. From the beginning I was intrigued. As soon I started reading and as chapters went by, I became addicted to the characters. I found myself “confused” by which character I was supposed to love and hate. I knew who the “bad” guy was but I found myself liking that jerk (jerk isn't a strong enough word for him!)! I wanted more of his back story (is that wrong??? If it is, I don’t want to be right!). I went from hating him to loving him to hating him to feeling bad for him. I’m still confused by this man. I hated him. I loved him. I wanted to see him hurt but I wanted to see him loved. His character was everything I should hate but I found myself liking…hence confused! Then there is the other guy in the story…. Sweet baby Jesus! The confused state I was in with the “bad” guy had nothing on my confused state with this one. I wanted to trust him, to believe in him, to love him but he made it so damn hard. He made you feel things that you weren’t sure you should feel and then he switched the flip just like that! This story left your head spinning! You wanted to believe what you were reading when you read that person’s POV but it was hard once it switched because you got what that character was feeling and that is what I loved about this author’s writing! Then there’s Jules (the leading lady)… I just can’t imagine what she went through, what she was feeling… I mean… Wow. I felt so bad for her. Felt her anger, her sadness, her joy, her Blyss. I wanted to yell at her at times to wake the hell up but I knew it wasn’t her that was in control! She had so much crap to deal with, I just felt for her but wanted to strangle her at times! Book 1 was good but book 2…wow and then book 3…blew my mind! I gasped out loud! I just found a new favorite author to follow. I’m ready for more!Read on behalf of A Book Lover's Emporium

This is my honest review. I read all three books and thought it was well written and good. If all you are looking for is sex and a quick read, these are not the books for you. The Blyss Trilogy by JC Cliff will stir you up and mess with your mind to the point you don’t know what end is up. It really needs to come with a warning label that if you have anxiety, proceed with caution. LOL! Besides that, it is full of action, intrigue, and more than a few surprises that will leave you guessing. Jules is kidnapped and is ready to fight her kidnappers every step of the way, but they have the Blyss drug and it makes it harder to stand her ground than it should be. Plus there is an underlying current between her and the trainer Travis that leaves her feeling like she is cheating on her fiancé. The man who kidnapped her, Nick, says he loves Jules, but he wants to keep her drugged up and submissive. Travis says that she is nothing but a slave, however, there is something in his eyes. In her opinion, neither man is good for her. And yet, we find that there is so much more to Travis than he appears and he becomes the hero you want him to be. If you have read Quinn, this series actually fills in the gaps about Blyss and this is where we are first introduced to Quinn. Although both can be read without the other, it does help to understand a few things. I’m not going to lie, this book had my anxiety flaring at any given point and I would have to set it down and come back to it. It is a cluster, but in a good way. The mystery and action will keep drawing you in, and you need to know what happens next. The end felt a little rushed, but I understand what the author was doing with it. I do recommend reading it and give it 4 stars. Once click today!

Blyss by J. C. Cliff was a jaw dropping trilogy. From the very beginning I was immediately enthralled into the story of Julianna Oakley. J. C. Cliff took me on a wild ride of emotions that left me reeling long after the series was over. Although the book was titled for entirely different reason, this book was pure blyss to read. There was such a powerful story of depravity, deception, and corruption, but there was also an immense amount of love, devotion, hope and trust. Blyss was so perfectly written that you hoped and prayed it would end a certain way but you never knew what was coming next. The unique story line was like nothing I have read before, and I applaud J. C. Cliff for bringing something new to the genre. The whole series was like an intense game tennis, the ball kept being hit back and forth and although you know where you want it to land in the end, you never know how the racket will swing; leaving you on the edge of your seat. This book was written from multiple POV’s and that only enhanced the powerful connection you had with the characters. You felt every emotion that was portrayed and I constantly was in battle with myself over loving and hating characters. If you haven’t read this series, you have to get your daily dose of Blyss, because until then you are missing out on the thrilling journey that this series will take you on. We loved this series and look forward to reading more of J. C. Cliff’s work.

All these babies in one box-set....FABULOUS!!!!If you are a fan of Dark Novels... then the BLYSS Trilogy comes HIGHLY recommended by me! An absolutely twisted and sick tale which will have your head spinning and your heart freezing from the non-stop suspense and angst. A series which combines extremely dark situations, highly erotic scenes, mystery, non-stop action and a steamy romance. Worst part about these books was having to wait imatiently for the next one to be published so that I can witness what that warped brain of JC Cliff would conjure up! This is why this BOX SET is FANTASTIC for those who haven't read it yet!!! 5 Intriguing Stars for this heart pumping-gut retching novel!!!

Engrossing, Engaging, Enticing, Erotic Romance! This trilogy was the first works I have read from this writer and I am so happy I gave her books a try. She is a talented adult romance storyteller! She is particularly great with the pacing and description of the erotic love scene. The story line and arc was not run off the mill but peppered with suspense that I found makes this book a page-turner. Her male characters protagonist and antagonist alike are some of my hottest most favorite new fantasy book boyfriends

Wow!This was an amazing read! The author spun a web of lies and deceit so convoluted that the conclusion made my mind spin! It was erotic and dangerous and the characters are completely lovable and fully developed. I definitely recommend this series and give the author two thumbs way up for a story well-written!
